Roy Hayes is the oldest of the three racing Hayes Brothers, currently age 14. Roy has been successful at every level in which he’s competed, with this season being his most successful so far.
He has picked up three wins with the team’s NASCAR Late Model Stock car at the Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, North Carolina competing in their limited late model division. He also won for the first time at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the nationally-televised Summer Shootout Series, racing against some of the top young legends car racers in the nation.
Roy has scored wins in legends cars and late models on pavement, and in his winged mini-outlaw on the dirt at Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, North Carolina. He is also fifth in series points in his rookie year of competition with the Pro All Star Series (PASS) South racing a super late model under the direction of successful crew chief Kevin Hollenbach. Roy continues to gain experience and methodically make his way up the Motorsports ladder toward his goal of racing in NASCAR’s national series.
